Course Objectives

The course aims at developing students¡¦ competence in audio transcription skills in English and Chinese. It is designed to enable students to apply various aspects of spelling and punctuation rules and the basic sounds of English speech in audio dictation, improve retention ability while developing continuous listening/transcription skills, recognize the importance of following both oral and written instructions and produce presentable business documents in English and Chinese from audio dictation.
